Framed Textile Art.
Repurposed. Reimagined. Reloved.

Rambling with a lighter footprint is a goal, priority, and a necessity not only for our wellbeing, but for this earth, our home. Itruly believe we must push into new areas of living, being, and creating. I've always been a thrifter, on the search for a used treasure and last year, fabrics kept finding their way to me. I was given cut offs from friends who are fabulous curtain designers that travel the world with this unique niche. I felt like a kid in a candy shop when they gave me some gorgeous fabric and I packed it to come to Asheville, NC with me when I moved there before the Spring of last year. I pulled it out, and it sat on a shelf. Then, I found some mushroom fabric, and was like, you know, I'm putting these gorgeous textiles into frames, because they are art. Framing brings the focus in to really seeing the beauty. So, my journey began, and I found this to be such an unexpected passion. Each one is a learning curve, of being bold in cutting something out, then sewing by hand in a different way.

Okay, I do several little happy dances along the way and hope this joy is also an added thread into each piece!

As this is still a new creative endeavor, I sell locally in Texas, though shipping is possible. Also, some spring art festivals, I may be rambling to and will post on insta!
